Abby, PharmD (Pharmacist-in-charge)
Abby graduated from University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy in 2020. Abby has enjoyed serving as an adjunct instructor with UMKC School of Pharmacy teaching pharmacy students how to compound sterile and non-sterile medications. She also has experience in sterile compounding, clean room management, and implementing and maintaining state pharmacy laws, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations through her work in 503B outsourcing facility operations. Abby really enjoys working with patients and pet owners to create new compounds that meet their individual needs.
When not at work, you may find Abby reading, playing piano, or watching Marvel movies with her husband, cats, and dogs.
Ann, R.Ph. (Pharmacist)
Ann graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1992. Ann has experience in sterile compounding, as she started her professional career at Boone Hospital Center in the inpatient pharmacy. After being at Boone, Ann gained 18 years of experience in sterile preparations in her position at CoMo Compounding, adapting to regulatory changes over the years. Ann is thoroughly enjoying the challenges that are presented to CoMo Compounding’s new compounding facility. One thing that has really become interesting to Ann is the veterinary world of compounding, and she can not wait to provide services to your fur babies.
When not at work, you will find Ann watching sports, listening to music, and playing with her husband in Rummikub.
Grace, PharmD (Pharmacist)
Grace graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy in 2022. She has also completed the hormone replacement therapy specialist certification through PCCA. One of her main interests is veterinary pharmacy. In pharmacy school, she gained experience at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield,MO learning under the in-house veterinarian. During her time there, she learned about treatments for various exotic species and helped compound medications for the zoo animals.
When not at work, she enjoys her hobby of showing dogs, as well as cooking/baking and trying new restaurants!
Sean, Senior Compounding Technician
Marcia, CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician
Marcia’s experience in pharmacy started in 1984. She began her career in pharmaceutical compounding in 2000 and joined CoMo Compounding in 2007. Marcia has obtained training and ACA certification in multiple areas of compounding, including HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and dermatology.
When not at work, you may find Marcia on her farm taking care of her many animals, tending to her garden and flowers, fishing, or creating memories with her grandchildren.
